At AMRE Management Service Sdn Bhd (“AMRE”), we are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) of Malaysia. 

This Policy explains:

  • how we use your personal data 
  • the parties that we disclose personal data to 
  • the choices you have, including how to access and update your personal data 

 

  1. Personal Data We May Collect from You

We may collect the following personal data about you: 

  • Personal information to establish your identity and background such as your full name, NRIC/passport number, nationality, date of birth, gender, and other identifiers 
  • Contact information such as mailing address, telephone number, mobile number, fax number, and email address 
  • Payment information such as bank account details, credit/debit card information, cardholder name, expiry date, and billing address (if applicable) 
  • Sensitive information such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, criminal background, or trade union membership. We do not generally collect sensitive information unless it is necessary to serve you better and meet your particular needs 
  • Recording of your image via CCTV cameras installed at our offices, branches, or premises 
  • Photographs captured during corporate events, training sessions, or third-party events attended with AMRE 
  • Recording of calls placed to our customer service lines 
  • Function or position information when you commence a business relationship with us 
  • Resumes or CVs when you apply for a job with us 

For general web browsing although no personal data is revealed to us, certain technical and statistical information is available to us via our internet service provider such as cookies, your IP address, the time, date and duration of your visit. If you provide us with any personal data relating to a third party (e.g., information about your spouse, children, parents, or employees), by submitting such personal data to us, you represent that you have obtained the consent of the third party to provide us with their personal data for the purposes described in this Policy.

We may collect personal data from multiple sources, including: 

  • Directly from you when you register for our services, submit application forms, or communicate with us 
  • From your authorized representatives who interact with us on your behalf

  • for any other purposes that is required or permitted by any law, regulations, guidelines and/or relevant regulatory authorities.

We may disclose your personal data to the following parties, where required or necessary: 

  • federal or state government authorities 
  • law enforcement agencies 
  • regulatory bodies 
  • service providers, contractors, consultants, or professional advisors 
  • business associates and other parties providing services related to your engagement with us 
  • other parties in respect of whom you have given your express or implied consent  
  • credit reporting agencies or debt collection agencies, where permitted by law 

We ensure that all third parties are contractually bound to use personal data only for the purposes specified and to comply with PDPA requirements. 

 

  1. Consequences of Incomplete Personal Data

Where required in application, registration, or onboarding forms, providing complete personal data is obligatory. Failure to provide complete personal data may result in: 

  • inability to process your application 
  • limitations in the provision of services 
  • delays in communication, processing, or fulfillment of agreements 

 

  1. Your Rights to Access and Correct Personal Data

You may: 

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you 
  • request correction of inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or outdated data 

Requests should be made in writing to our designated contact at info@Amre-ms.com. We will respond to your request within the timeframe prescribed under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) Malaysia 

 

  1. Retention of Personal Data

We retain personal data: 

  • for the duration of your relationship with AMRE 
  • for periods necessary to protect AMRE’s or clients’ interests 
  • to comply with statutory and regulatory obligations 

For example, financial, accounting, and payroll records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years, or longer if required by law. Upon expiry of retention periods, data will be securely destroyed or anonymized. 

 

  1. Protection and Security of Personal Data

We adopt all reasonable measures to protect personal data, including: 

  • verifying identity before releasing information 
  • implementing technical safeguards (password protection, encryption, firewalls, access control) 
  • organizational safeguards (staff training, confidentiality agreements, restricted access) 
  • physical safeguards (locked cabinets, restricted premises access) 

While we strive to protect personal data, no system is entirely secure. We take all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

  • transfers comply with PDPA requirements 
  • recipients are contractually bound to only use data for the specified purposes 
  • recipients provide adequate data protection
